Holiday Marketing tips from around the web
Happy Holidays!
It’s easy to become discouraged about holiday sales for 2009. I just read yet another doom and gloom article, this time from CNN Money.com. How many dire warnings do owners starting a new business need?
Okay, the situation is serious. We get that! Still, before surrendering to the grim reaper of recession, check out some of what these authors tell us we can do to breathe some life and joy into the holiday season.

This article offers online retailers, “a list of e commerce holiday ideas that can be tried and refined to benefit you for years to come.”
Pinpoint Mailing offers my favorite tip: “Invest more, or at least the same, in marketing. Everyone else is cutting back!” Let everybody know you’re still around.
When it comes to marketing this holiday season, there’s a lot to be gained from just showing up. As my dad always said, if you show up at every opportunity, they may not like you, but they will recognize you in the crowd.
