Creative Financing for Startups

Stop Deluding Yourself

Afew entrepreneurs always seem to find solutions to every problem, even financial problems. On the other hand, far more new business owners wait month after month for money to fall into their laps. Other people rush out asking for big bucks to bankroll lengthy projects yet offer no guarantees that once the project is completed, the result will sell. You will recognize them by their moaning, groaning and griping about stupid investors are who fail to understand the “great opportunity” their startup is offering.

Here are four articles from around the web to help us change our out-of-date thinking and start dealing with today’s reality instead:

  1. How to raise capital if you’re just starting a business
  2. Don’t scare off investors
  3. Financing the way it was
  4. Today’s creative financing
With the web you now have dozens of additional ways to use creative financing to launch your startup.

If you need someone experienced in running a small business, not just a another hot new web designer, contact SketchPad to see how we can help with your internet needs.

In the past couple months I have seen many that are looking for funding, they are asking for funding, but they are not getting the funding. Because they are asking the wrong people. Finding the right people is the real trick that they need to learn. Not just for Funding, once they know how to find the money people, they will learn how to fill other roles once their companies grow.

Those are some really great resources/articles!! It’s so hard to find great content relevant to start-up financing or small business loans. It’s so hard for entrepreneurs to find small business loans, so these articles will definitely come in handy. Thanks for sharing these valuable resources!
